ptatreeCome meet fellow Maya Lin parents, get involved in the community, and eat dinner. Can’t get there at the beginning of the meeting? Have to leave early? No problem! Come for what you can.

Food and babysitting for potty-trained children provided.

5-9, 8AM: Bike to School Day

Maya Lin School will celebrate Bike to School Day with a dance party, helmet decorating, tire pumping, helmet checks, snacks, and giveaways. Bike commuting is good for our health, the community, and the planet. Join the thousands of riders pedaling on Bike to School Day! It’s the best day to try out cycling with your family because there’s safety in numbers. 4-30, 6:30PM: Social Justice and Equity Committee Meeting

These meetings are usually the last Tuesday of the month in room 12. There is babysitting.

The Social Justice and Equity Committee aims to help the school community reach our school’s vision. We believe that when social justice and equity exist for our students and families, and when the community takes action to create a just and equitable environment, our students will exceed their potential, becoming changemakers who will positively impact our world.

Fast Times at Maya Lin School, the rad 80’s party supporting Maya Lin’s media center and innovative program, is SAT 4/27 6:30 PM at Eagles Hall. 80’s attire encouraged, but not required.

Online only auction: We will have a pre-event online only auction Tue 4/23 at noon – Fri 4/27 5 pm the items online will NOT be sold at the auction. If you are unable to make the event, you can purchase a $5 ONLINE ONLY auction ticket on the site. We will have SUMMER CAMPS (you know you don’t have summer totally figured out), theater tickets, museum tickets, gift cards, and surprises!

At this event: We will let the good times roll with drinks, yummy food, quick FUNdraising games, silent auction on hosted parties, teacher experiences., class gift baskets, student artwork, new ML swag and some surprises!
This is an ’80s party, so bring your CHECK BOOK– remember those? (to avoid credit card fees)
